Everlasting at The Blue Gallery

It has been way too long since I have put up a post but the last couple of months have been so crazy that it has been hard to want to work on the computer. One of the things I have been working on for the past couple of months is this new show called “Everlasting” at The Blue Gallery in Kansas City, Missouri. I’m really excited about this new body of work which revolves around boxing and bare knuckle fighters and for me is a reflection of what the last several months have been like trying to juggle so much between work, art outside of work, being a father and husband and sacrifice. It has been a great journey and I am proud of what I have been able to get done. Another great part of the show is that I am sharing the gallery with a very talented artist from Kansas City named Bernal Koehrsen III. Our work is very different but I have a serious respect for what this guy does. His sense of color and flow are amazing and I am happy we had the chance to collab on a couple of pieces for the show! Thanks to my wife Alisa for all the support with the family while I worked on this show.
